Oh, venerable Vaisnava, dearly beloved spiritual master, you are the life and sustenance of our existence. Just as the sun activates lifeless trees at winter's end and ushers in the flower-bearing spring, you have by your presence given life to a lifeless world. Please give us the shade of your lotus feet.

Oh, ocean of auspicious qualities, please wash away our faults and passions, and as the cloud pours water on the forest fire, extinguish this blazing fire of material existence in which we have been burning since time immemorial. Please give us the shelter of your lotus feet.

Oh, lionhearted and fearless father, out of your causeless kindness you have informed us of our eternal blissful nature as servants of Krsna. Now please bestow upon us the faith to carry on this sahkirtana movement, which is benefiting all of humanity. Please give us the protection of your lotus feet.

Oh, Srila Prabhupada, protector of fallen souls, please accept our humble offerings of homage and make our lives successful. If you do not accept our tiny offerings, then our lives are ruined and we will surely be lost again in the whirlpool of material suffering. Please, Srila Prabhupada, give us the mercy of your lotus feet.
