A Prayer to the Lotus Feet of Sri Gauraṅga

(1)

sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu doya koro more
toma bina ke doyalu jagat-samsare

[O Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu, please be merciful upon me. There is no one
more merciful than You in this world of birth and death.]

(2)

patita-pavana-hetu tava avatara,
mo sama patita prabhu na paibe ara

[You appear as an incarnation just to reclaim the conditioned, fallen souls, but I assure You that You will not find a soul more fallen than me."]

(3)

ha ha prabhu nityananda, premananda sukhi
krpabalokana koro ami boro duhkhi

[O Lord Nityananda, You are relishing the bliss of pure love of God. Please bestow Your merciful glance upon me, for I am greatly distressed.]

(4)

doya koro sita-pati adwaita gosai
tava krpa-bale pai caitanya-nitai

[O Advaita Gosvami, husband of Sita, be merciful unto me. On the strength of Your mercy one can attain the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda.]

doya koro sri-acarya prabhu srinivasa
ramacandra-saṅga mage narottama-dasa

[My dear master, Srinivasa Acarya, please be merciful to me. Narottama dasa simply begs the association of Ramacandra Cakravarti.]
