A Prayer to the Lotus Feet of Sri Gauraṅga

[I offer my obeisances to Sri Krsna Caitanya, Prabhu Nityananda, Sri Advaita, Gadadhara, Srivasa and all others in the line of devotion.]

sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu doya koro more
toma bina ke doyalu jagat-samsare
patita-pavana-hetu tava avatara
mo sama patita prabhu na paibe ara

[O Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu, please be merciful upon me. There is no one more merciful than You in this world of birth and death. You appear as an incarnation just to reclaim the conditioned, fallen souls, but I assure You that You will not find a soul more fallen than me."]

ha ha prabhu nityananda, premananda sukhi
krpabalokana koro ami boro duhkhi

[O Lord Nityananda, You are relishing the bliss of pure love of God. Please bestow Your merciful glance upon me, for I am greatly distressed.]

ha ha rupa, sanatana, bhatta raghunatha
sri-jiva gopala bhatta ha prabhu lokanatha

[O Svarupa Damodara, Sanatana Gosvami, Rupa Gosvami, Raghunatha Gosvami, Gopala Bhatta Gosvami, Jiva Gosvami and Lokanatha Gosvami!]

doya koro sita-pati adwaita gosai
tava krpa-bale pai caitanya-nitai

[O Advaita Gosvami, husband of Sita, be merciful unto me. On the strength of Your mercy one can attain the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda.]

doya koro sri-acarya prabhu srinivasa
ramacandra-kirtana mage narottama-dasa

[My dear master, Srinivasa Acarya, please be merciful to me. Narottama dasa simply begs the association of Ramacandra Cakravarti.]

[O Lord Rama, descendant of King Raghu, please protect Me. O Krsna, O Kesava, killer of the Kesi demon, please maintain Me.]

[O Gopala, Govinda, Rama, Sri Madhusudana, Giridhari, Gopinatha, Madana-mohana!]

Radha-ramana-hari Govinda jaya jaya

[All glories to Lord Sri Krsna who gives pleasure to the cows and senses, who protects the cows, and who gives pleasure to Srimati Radharani.]

jayatam suratau paṅgor
mama manda-mater gati
mat-sarvasva-padambhojau
radha-madana-mohanau

[Glory to the all-merciful Radha and Madana-mohana! I am lame and ill-advised, yet They are my directors, and Their lotus feet are everything to me.]

divyad-vrndaranya-kalpa-drumadhah-
srimad-ratnagara-simhasana-sthau
srimad-radha-srila-govinda-devau
presthalibhih sevyamanau smarami

[In a temple of jewels in Vrndavana, underneath a desire tree, Sri Sri Radha-Govinda, served by Their most confidential associates, sit upon an effulgent throne. I offer my humble obeisances unto Them.]

sriman rasa-rasarambhi
vamsivata-tata-sthitah
karsan venu-svanair gopir
gopi-nathah sriye 'stu nah

[Sri Srila Gopinatha, who originated the transcendental mellow of the rasa dance, stands on the shore in Vamsivata and attracts the attention of the cowherd damsels with the sound of His celebrated flute. May they all confer upon us their benediction.]
