krsna-sukha-tatparya gopi-bhava-varya
SYNONYMS
nija-indriyaof one's own senses; sukhaof the happiness; hetufor the reason; kameraof lusty desire; tatparyaintention; krsnaof Krsna; sukhathe happiness; tatparyaintention; gopi-bhava-varyathe foremost mood of the gopis.
TRANSLATION
"Lusty desires are experienced when one is concerned with his own personal sense gratification. The mood of the gopis is not like that. Their only desire is to satisfy the senses of Krsna.
