চারিযুগাবতারে এই ত' গণন ।
শুনি' ভঙ্গি করি' তাঁরে পুছে সনাতন ॥ ৩৪৯ ॥

cari-yugavatare ei ta' ganana

suni' bhaṅgi kari' taṅre puche sanatana

SYNONYMS

cari-yuga-avatare-of the incarnations in the four different yugas; ei ta' ganana-such enumeration; suni'-hearing; bhaṅgi kari'-giving a hint; taṅre-unto Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; puche-inquired; sanatana-Sanatana Gosvami.

TRANSLATION

"Thus I have given a description of the incarnations of the four different yugas." After hearing all this, Sanatana Gosvami gave an indirect hint to the Lord.
