sarva-bhutesu bhu-pala
taratamyena vartate
taya—by her; tirah-hitatvat—from being freed from the influence; ca—also; saktih—the potency; ksetra-jnaksetra-jna; samjnita—known by the name; sarva-bhutesu—in different types of bodies; bhu-pala—O King; taratamyena—in different degrees; vartate—exists.
" 'This living entity, covered by the influence of nescience, exists in different forms in the material condition. O King, he is thus proportionately freed from the influence of material energy, to greater or lesser degrees.'
