"জগতের বন্ধু তুমি রূপগুণবান্ ।
তব সঙ্গ লাগি' মোর এথাকে প্রয়াণ ॥ ২৩৬ ॥
"jagatera bandhu tumi rupa-gunavan
tava saṅga lagi' mora ethake prayana
jagatera-of the whole world; bandhu-friend; tumi-you; rupa-guna-van-so beautiful and qualified; tava saṅga-your union; lagi'-for; mora-my; ethake prayana-coming here.
"My dear friend," she said, "you are the friend of the entire world. You are so beautiful and qualified. I have come here only for union with you.
