Our dear father Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept our most fallen obeisances. All glories to your lotus feet! Upon this momentous occasion of your holy appearance day, we pray for you to simply help us understand your mission. We have taken our birth in the Western world, which is full of impersonalism and voidism, and we have therefore failed to understand the purpose of life. Now we have become your disciples and have learned that Krsna is God. Next our duty is to go forward, to seek out our relationship with Him. In Bombay (7-29-74) you told us: "Krsna is very kind. Engage all your senses for understanding Krsna with devotion and faith-with love. The love is the basic principle for understanding Krsna. But develop your love. He wants that you should also love Him and give Him something. That He wants. Therefore He comes (paritranaya sadhūnam). He is asking out of love-that you try to love Him. Krsna's so kind. And still you are not taking the opportunity of understanding Krsna. Just see how much unfortunate we are." Therefore we humbly pray that you will help us to actually understand your identity and the real purpose of this Krsna consciousness process. In Atlanta you were asked, "Prabhupada, how can we please you?" You replied, "Develop your love of God."

We therefore humbly pray that we will all stop this impersonalism and voidism forever and fully utilize this opportunity you are giving us. We will try to become free from this bankrupt condition and fully develop our love for Krsna. Kindly help us to please you in this way.
