New Vṛndāvana

Srila Prabhupada, you are the ocean of mercy, the friend of the poor and the Lord and master of the devotees. Oh Srila Prabhupada! Please be merciful unto us and give us the shade of your lotus feet. Your fame is spread all over the three worlds.

Coming into contact with the illusory energy, becoming envious of the Supreme Lord Krsna, taking up the uniform of a prisoner, contemplating the objects of the senses and being scorched by attachment, lust, anger, delusion, bewilderment of memory, loss of intelligence, utter submergence in the depths of darkness and pain-this is our ḷife's history in the mahat-tattwa. We have wept oceans of tears, being forced to carry the unbearable, massive load of miseries so rightly deserved.

We had totally forsaken our eternal Lord Sri Krsna, who would never do the same to us. But, instead of leaving us in the pit of this horrifying entanglement, He has sent His dearmost personal delegate, whose voice has crushed our uncrushable pride, and who has turned our guilty faces to have a glimpse of reality in the highest form-Sri Sri Radha-Vrndavanacandra.

Srila Prabhupada, you have told us that if the bull (which represents the principles of religion) is protected nicely and given sufficient grazing pastures, then he will naturally eat up all the long grasses (which represent rampant irreligion) growing there. So all of us here at New Vrndavana are daily letting the beautiful strong bulls out to pasture to eat the long grasses to their full satisfaction. Your simple, compassionate instructions are pouring forth like rivers of nectar from your lotus lips, entering our earholes. Consequently, we are feeling satisfied at heart and fully confident to meet Maya's agents face to face, fighting down to the last confrontation as long as you remain with us as our bold commander-in-chief.

In Bhagavad-gita Krsna promises to appear whenever there is necessity of relieving the burden of the earth by means of annihilating the miscreants and establishing religious principles. This is certainly a time of such necessity because for thousands of years the most offenseless and important animal, the cow (who represents Mother Earth), has been trembling due to seeing her life put in danger by the uncultured, lower than sūdra, kali-yuga man, and shedding tears due to seeing the pitiable condition of all her sons (men and animals). Krsna always fulfills His promise. Sometimes He sends His representative instead of personally coming, which is just as good as if He comes Himself.

This time He has chosen to send His pure confidential servant, to solve all of the problems.

Srila Prabhupada, you are that confidential servant from Krsna who is drying up the tears of the cows and stopping their fearful trembling. You have been sent to establish varna-asrama-dharma once again, though it has long since been lost. You are truly relieving Mother Earth of her burden.

The beautiful cows of New vrndavana, who represent Mother Earth, are so grateful to you that they are constantly offering you your favorite foodstuff; foaming white milk, thick with cream; liquid religiosity.

According to the laws of Manu or Vedic law, we all deserve to be killed outright because of the heinous act and offenses we have committed in this life, being born in mleccha families, but instead, by your immeasurable loving kindness upon fallen souls such as us, you have gifted us with the most valuable jewel, which you call "simple living and high thinking." Although we don't value it enough, we are humbly thanking you for it as we prostrate ourselves at you lotus feet on this holiest of all holy days. May we satisfy you fully with our lives.
