Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto his most glorious Divine Grace Om Visnupada Paramahamsa Parivrajakacarya Astottara-sata Sri Srimad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who appeared in this world amidst the influence of the Kali-yuga to deliver the message of Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
Dear Srila Prabhupada,
You are the most magnanimous personality. Having appeared in such a hellish time, you came to deliver the whole world from being eternally conditioned. By the mercy of the Supreme Lord you have come and forced, forced, forced open our blinded eyes with the blazing torchlight of transcendental knowledge. O greatest of mahatmas, your total surrender to the Supreme Lord paved the path for millions of souls to return home, back to Godhead. You alone have ignited a spiritual revolution destined to spread all over the universe. How could we even begin to glorify your wonderful activities? I must simply begin by begging for your grace so that somehow or other we can push on and spread your mission. In this way your glorious divine personality will be revealed to the world at large.
For millions of births we have been mlecchas. In this lifetime we were the most abominable mlecchas, committing all kinds of sinful activities. O divine father, our only glitter of hope is to take shelter at your lotus feet, to hear the words emanating from your lotuslike mouth, and to take your instructions as our life and soul.
Srila Prabhupada, your smile, your words, your books, these are the only things that matter in our lives. You alone have rekindled our desire to live-not to live in this material world, but live in the eternal kingdom of God. To you, lord and master, we offer our prostrated obeisances crores of millions of times.
