Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Human life begins when one makes some positive inquiry, searching out the Absolute Truth. The birth of Lord Brahma was exemplary in this respect because from the very beginning of his life, his only interest was to search out the source of his existence. Our birth, however, was completely inauspicious in all respects, because we were born in the darkness of this Age of Kali, at such a time when spiritual activities are in a stage of depression. Beginning from birth our only business has been to seek out all varieties of nescient activities, wasting away the most valuable opportunity which this human life provides. Not caring a fig for spiritual life, somehow or another, Srila Prabhupada, you have injected within such fallen and lowly souls the reawakening of a long lost desire to return back to our original constitutional position as eternal servitors of Krsna.

Undoubtedly, you are patita-pavana, because no matter how hard we may resist, you are still proceeding to force our eyes open with the torchlight of knowledge. Perhaps one day we will realize that you are actually the external manifestation of Supersoul, bestowing your full blessing to anyone willing to a accept. Hopefully at that time we will take full advantage and bathe in the ocean of your unlimited mercy.

Our fathomless sojourn through this material existence now seems to be coming to an end because by the mercy of Krsna you have appeared in our lonely lives. Now by your mercy we are actually entering back into our natural blissful lives of Krsna consciousness. Not only are you yourself engaged in distributing the unlimited, ever-sweet fruits of Lord Caitanya's tree, but now you are also inviting us to enter into such a sublime lila. In this way, you are displaying all of the real qualifications of a bona fide spiritual master, as you are now practically engaging the whole world in the wonderful pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Only one decade ago Krsna was practically unknown to everyone. Now the entire globe is beginning to vibrate with the glories of Sri Krsna. Even the most callous souls are becoming unable to resist, and the greatest skeptics are beginning to accept. Truly, if anyone wants to see miracles, he need only open his eyes.

Although we are unable to fully appreciate your actual position, we are somehow able to perceive that you are our real father to whom we are eternally indebted. We are just like young children who don't even know what is good or bad, or what is right or wrong, and you are so tolerant, taking us by the hand and completely guiding us step by step on this most important voyage home. All of our former parents and teachers had no conception at all of how one should make proper use of this human form of life. They were only able to direct us in the matter of increasing our material bondage through greater and greater sense gratification. This is the greatest pitfall which causes one to completely lose all sanity and ultimately fall victim to the forest of material enjoyment. Actually, we had become faithful servants to masters we were never able to satisfy.

Now our lives are becoming fresh and new as we continue day by day to follow your simple instructions. By refraining from undesirable habits and chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra you are enabling us to realize the topmost confidential knowledge with is not even to be found in all the Vedic scriptures. It is wait that by becoming the servant of a king one is able to gain the benefit of enjoying the whole kingdom. Similarly, by us becoming your servants, you are offering us eternal entry into the limitless ocean of love of Godhead.

Knowing now that our lives are meant only for serving you, we pray that you may recognize our puny efforts and somehow or another be pleased by them. Our only request to you, Srila Prabhupada, is that you may always allow us to remain in the shelter of your lotus feet.
