kirata-hūnandhra-pulinda-pulkasa
abhira-sumbha yavanaḥ khasadayaḥ
ye 'nye ca papa yad-apasrayasrayaḥ
sudhyanti tasmai prabhavisnave namaḥ

Kirata, Hūna, Sumbha, Yavana and Khasa races and even others who are addicted to sinful acts can be purified by taking shelter of the devotees of the Lord due to His being the supreme power. I beg to offer my respectful obeisances unto Him." (SB 2.4.18)

You are such a pure devotee, and even the most illusioned and sinful living entities cannot continue their degraded activities if they have the association of a pure devotee like you. By your mercy, you are giving everyone the chance of becoming Krsna conscious, the greatest boon of this human form of life. By your mercy, a dumb man can speak, and a lame man can cross over a mountain; and so we who are so unqualified, on this auspicious day, can simply offer you our prostrated obeisances again and again, praying to take complete shelter of your lotus feet, because by taking such shelter one can be protected from the glamor of maya.

We can only hope to be able to serve you birth after birth, life after life, unflinchingly, with firm faith and determination to chant Hare Krsna and follow all the rules and regulations of bhakti life. Without you, Srila Prabhupada, our lives are meaningless. You have opened up our eyes with the torchlight of transcendental knowledge, so therefore we pray, "Please engage us eternally in your service!"
