Māyāpur
Mayapur
sent disciples over the sea
But his Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Alone planted the devotional tree.
Spreading the holy message of Gaura;
without mixing in anything more.
Other so-called sadhus go abroad,
Soon to come back to their land.
A failure only earning cheap applause
Without making any permanent stand.
Jaya Prabhupada, for helping others find the way,
And weeding voidism and impersonalism from the West.
New life, happy day, filled ever with zest.
Fallen from the path of divine knowledge
Working hard like a dog, to enjoy like a hog,
We offer thousands of obeisances unto you, O great sage!
For purifying our vision from the fog.
Goes well for spreading the holy name around.
Prabhupada's devotees with books on every street,
Srila Prabhupada guides us blind men up that holy road.
Develop Mayapur, wonderful Lord Caitanya's place of birth.
Living of dying is the same when living in the spiritual abode!
By Prabhupada's mercy may her culture be restored.
Last in India ashen-covered embers scatter light
Western bhaktas bring fresh to mind the Golden Lord.
The materialist is wrong is your song,
without Krsna there is no way to be right.
A sense-restricted scientist's song must be wrong,
Your Divine Grace's arguments are watertight.
ISKCON was created by Your Divine Grace
To stand united against the darkness of nescience.
Eternally to serve Your Lotus Feet with awakened senses.
