om ajnana-timirandhasya jnananjana-salakaya
caksur unmilitam yena tasmai sri-gurave namaḥ

ceto-darpana-marjanam bhava-maha-davagni-nirvapanam
sreyaḥ-kairava-candrika-vitaranam vidya-vadhū-jivanam
anandambudhi-vardhanam prati-padam pūrnamrtasvadanam
sarvatma-snapanam param vijayate sri-krsna-sahkirtanam

"All glories to the Sri Krsna Sahkirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years together and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This Sahkirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious."

Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept our respectful and humble obeisances at your lotus feet. Your transcendental appearance is a display of Sri Krsna's grace upon all conditioned souls. He has sent you to mercifully distribute the bhakti-lata, the creeper of devotional service. Without this creeper of devotional service all living entities are bound to transmigrate from one species to another and from one planet to another, never finding real happiness. You have given us all the opportunity to return home, back to Godhead.

Such a matchless gift cannot be repaid. However, we must enthusiastically attempt to repay you even though we may always be unable. Our repayment is to follow exactly as you have directed, chant sixteen good rounds, follow the four regulative principles and preach this message of Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

We understand that to please you is the perfection of our lives. Our fervent prayer to you, Srila Prabhupada, is that you give us the ability to recollect that we are your eternal servants and meant to engage all of our senses in your service.
