From the devotees from the New Godruma Farm Community to our beloved Gurudeva on this most blessed day: Srila Prabhupada, you are receiving benediction from the ocean of mercy. Just as the cloud pours water on the forest fire to extinguish it, so you are extinguishing the blazing fire of material existence, of repeated birth and death. Our lives are caught in a cesspool of sinful activities, so what good can come of it? We approach you, Gurudeva, with straw in teeth, because Krsna declares that you have seen the truth. Give us sight, let us see!!

Now we pray, we beg, please let us stay with you in your service until we understand without deviation this king of all knowledge.

Gurudeva, just give us, your servants, one drop of your mercy. We are lower than the blades of grass; give us help; give us strength. Let us be as you are without desires or aspirations.

If you are not merciful unto us, we can only weep and we will not be able to maintain our lives.
