That personality who delivered the treasure of prema-bhakti, who was so intense with compassion, where is such a personality to be found as His Divine Grace? The loving devotional service in the International Society for Krsna Consciousness is coming from the ocean of love and mercy Srila Prabhupada gave us. Srila Prabhupada was never that adorable body, but he was the love, the sravanaam kirtanam, the sahkirtana, the Sunday feasts, the unlimited books, letters, lectures with which he penetrated the iron shields of impersonalism, voidism, atheism and all other nonsense which covers our hearts.
We will never be able to forget your shining face, glancing over the stone, melting it and injecting the desire to achieve Lord Caitanya's lotus feet. We could never really understand you because of our mundane eyes and ears-you, who come from Goloka Vrndavana. Now we must cast off our sentimentalism and march on boldly. Please, Srila Prabhupada, let us remain at your feet and serve your transcendental body, the International Society for Krsna Consciousness. Let us be pure to fulfill your desire and make ISKCON the biggest movement in the world, if not the only one.
Where are the saviors of the fallen souls. Where is our Srila Prabhupada? Where is Svarūpa Damodara, and where are Rūpa Gosvami and Sanatana Gosvami? Where is Raghunatha dasa to be found? Where are my Raghunatha Bhatta and Gopala Bhatta Gosvami. Where am I to find Krsnadasa Kaviraja now? All of them bestowed their mercy on the conditioned souls to bring them back home, back to Godhead. When will we be able to join their company, which is not comparable to millions of bathings in all the holy rivers? All at once they have gone to join Lord Gaurahga, the great dancer. We put our lives into your hands. O our lord, you shine brightly, guiding us back to our eternal position. O acarya, O faultless person, you are so wonderful that you can instruct us from within-"This is maya, don't do this," or "This is Krsna consciousness, do this immediately." We, your servants here in Brazil, wish to give up all desires which do not please Your Divine Grace. Please let our lives be engaged in your service and somehow or other we will help your work to become the most famous all over the world.
