In Kasi Misra's house at Puri one old man chants from six to six. Because of his old body he sometimes gets the words wrong, or leaves them out, or forgets of bang the karatalas, or dozes off to sleep.
When the soldiers of time make their final assaults on the city of nine gates, it will be very difficult to remember Krsna. Maharaja Kulasekhara thought that it would be easier to remember Krsna if he died early, and he prayed for it.
Service to the spiritual master is the boat to cross the ocean of birth and death. An ignorant farm boy sometimes becomes a national hero in an emergency. We thank our spiritual master for giving us the nine items of devotional service. If diligently pursued in life, they well harbor in our thoughts at death.
A worm becomes a butterfly due to psychological changes in the mind. Let us take that service as our life and soul and always be happy.
