Hṛdayānanda dāsa Gosvāmī

O jagad-guru, Srila Prabhupada!
You've come as the external form of God.
We beg to offer you a respectable seat,
We beg to listen, at your lotus feet.

Our merciful master, Srila Prabhupada!
Take pity and help us to follow God's law.
By desires we're tortured, we beg for relief,
We beg for the shelter of your lotus feet.

Only you know, and not hellish society,
The glory of Krsna's Supreme Personality.
Now we are begging; we want to know Him too;
And only your lordship knows thus what to do.

To engage us in spiritual bliss,
That is your grace, the world's greatest gift.
You are free from all envy, you're our only friend,
Please accept our obeisances, again and again.

O jagad-guru, you have come in a line
Of jagad-gurus beyond space and time.
You've declared the best knowledge that can ever be;
Krsna, the Supreme Personality.

We fall at your feet, we beg for your grace.
Please take us out of our present disgrace.
You're the emblem of Bhagavad-gita;
Moving the world when you chant Hare Krsna.

Without your mercy, we'll suffer forever,
our hearts in a knot that we'll never sever.
O please intervene! We are lost helpless souls
Who fall in the dust of your lotus feet.
