Prabhupada, let me put my head on your two lotus feet
The whole world is running mad after a treat
But all their attempts will only meet defeat
Until they take shelter of your two lotus feet.

Prabhupada, your lotus feet have walked all over the earth
Establishing temples, and recovering the simple
Dishing out the sauce, that Krsna's the boss
Teaching what we've lost, that we're all krsna-dasa.

For so many crores, I've bee maya's clown
Now I'm throwing myself, down on the ground
I'm lowly as a snake, in a dark lake
Please! I need your protection from maya's infection.

I'm burning in anguish in this blazing samsara
When will I tire and put out this fire
I keep going on, chewing the chewed
When will I give up this enjoying mood?

Service is the name, and surrender is the game
Devotional service is always there-when will I care?
Taking seriously your instructions and stand like a man
And give all fallen souls a helping hand.

I'm sure you must get tired of this fool hanging around
The way I walk, the way I talk, just like a proud peacock
I'm the biggest rascal of all, I'm not on the ball
But you, Prabhupada, to me, are the greatest of all.

I love you Prabhupada
And I pray on this Vyasa-pūja day!
Give the shade of your sweet lotus feet
Don't kick me away, for I am unworthy and insignificant.
