The divine emissary, servant of Lord Caitanya, angel of divine mercy, has descended from on high where the holy name resounds and reverberates in all directions and falls and dances like a transcendental stream, filling all hearts with the supreme joy. He has appeared by love's holy command to spread the divine message of the transcendent Lord and fill the dark abyss of this sinful world with the glaring effulgence of God's holy name.

In this most fallen and dark age, all religious principles have been tossed and scattered by the storms of the all-powerful time factor. Therefore, he has appeared like a shining knight of your, radiant like the sun, touching our lifeless hearts, injecting the sweet breath of life, service to God, the most closely guarded secret, opening the gates to immortality.

Only the most foolish clown would ever dream to repay the priceless gift freely offered by the acarya. What could be possibly given to one who has everything? Seeing my own wretched and ungrateful person, I can only fall in the dust of his lotus feet, weeping at my shameless insincerity, bitterly lamenting so much precious time lost. When, oh when will I dance high and leap in the divine trance of the holy name, in the boundless joy which ever abides in him, the transcendental, holy manifestation of the almighty Supreme Lord, shattering the darkness of this material world by his purity. My obeisances unto him again and yet again, a thousand times.
