Subaldasa Svami
I meditate on the lotus feet of His Divine Grace Sri Srimad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and offer all obeisances unto him. He is the mercy representation of Caitanya Mahaprabhu and is very freely distributing pure love of Krsna to the Western world.
In the Caitanya-caritamrta it is said:
"By the mercy of the spiritual master who is a pure devotee and by the mercy of Krsna, one can achieve the platform of devotional service. There is no other way." (Madhya19.151)
His Divine Grace is such a pure devotee, and he act like a touchstone because His contact can turn a base person into a lover of Krsna. This is the greatest gift that can be given to anyone. Therefore one should constantly pray for the mercy of the spiritual master and worship him as Krsna Himself with all due respect and attention because Krsna states in the Eleventh Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam, 17th Chapter, 22nd verse.
"My dear Uddhava, the spiritual master must be accepted not only as My representative but as My very self. He must never be considered on the same level as an ordinary human being. One should never be envious of the spiritual master, as one may be envious of an ordinary man. The spiritual master should always be seen as the representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and by serving the spiritual master, one is able to serve all the demigods."
I therefore fall at His feet and pray for His causeless mercy.
O servant of Sarasvati Gosvami, I offer all obeisances unto You and pray that I may become an instrument in Your service. You may do with me as You like.
