Kirtanānanda Svāmī

I offer my humble obeisances,
I offer my worthless danḍavats,
I offer endless prostrations
To Srila Prabhupada, His Divine Loving Grace.

Why did you come from Braja's holy land?
Why now in Kali's darkest hour?
Why were we not prepared?
The Absolute Truth has come.

O Holy Infinite Mercy,
O Pure Divine Grace,
O Savior of all the worlds,
Srila Prabhupada, it is you!

Some men worship cats and dogs,
Some sacrifice their all to fleeting sex;
What mercy you bestow on all who take-
Devotional service, eternal, O Divine Grace.

Where are you going, Srila Prabhupada?
Back to that realm from when you came?
Strike me or kill me-that I beg,
But never leave me, O Divine Grace

The pollution you see is all my own;
How painful to one so pure.
How can you forever absorb my sins,
Yet remain forever without sin?

Such patience, O Holy Father, no one can deserve;
But if you do not dry up my filthy mind,
What sun is left uncontaminated?
I have no other shelter than You!
