"Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he as seen the truth." (Bhagavad-gita, 4.34)
In this verse, Lord Krsna is revealing the process for self-realization. One must first approach the bona fide spiritual master, make sincere inquiries and render service.
It is said that by Krsna's mercy one obtains a spiritual master, and by the mercy of the spiritual master one gets Krsna. On this most auspicious day of Vyasa Pūja, my most earnest desire is to find some way to thank Krsna for His causeless mercy in leading me, as blind as I am, to the service of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
"All the devotees of the Lord traverse this earth just to recover the conditioned souls from their delusion." (His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada)
Such a powerful devotee of the Lord can pick up even the lowest among mankind. Thus by the causeless mercy of Krsna, I, the lowest among mankind, have been stepped upon by the lotus feet of His servant and dearest friend.
Therefore, let me offer my respectful obeisances to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.
