Dāmodaradāsa Adhikārī

O our spiritual master, just by Your grace please allow us to offer unto You our obeisances, which are so full of faults and offenses. Your Divine Loving Grace, You are the all-merciful spiritual master of the universe. Since we are so weak and unfeeling, we are praying to the Lord for strength and devotion on executing Your orders. We have no understanding of You. You are always with Lord Krsna, so You are an inconceivable ocean of mercy, which we have not had the intelligence to jump into. So let us also pray unto You to give us strength and devotion in Your eternal service, which is the perfection of this human life. Unless a person is serving You, he has no hope of leaving this miserable world of death. Only You can bestow love of God to suffering humanity at this time because You are the only present bona fide representative of God. You are the very self of Krsna, as confirmed by Rūpa Gosvami. Without Your service by performing sahkirtana in the public streets, no man can entertain the hope of spiritual life. And no one except Your divine self is pushing the sahkirtana of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, which will soon be the universal religion of mankind. We await with transcendental anxiety the day when all the kings of the world will bow down to You, the great king, Guru Maharaja. Therefore please allow us to take shelter of Your lotus feet because You are so kind that You will accept even the most fallen, just out of Your love for Lord Caitanya.
