निवेदितो ऽथाङ्गिरसा सोमं निर्भर्त्स्य विश्वकृत् ।
तारां स्वभर्त्रे प्रायच्छद् अन्तर्वत्नीमवैत्पतिः ॥ ८ ॥

taram sva-bhartre prayacchad
niveditah-being fully informed; atha-thus; aṅgirasa-by Aṅgira Muni; somam-the moon-god; nirbhartsya-chastising severely; visva-krt-Lord Brahma; taram-Tara, the wife of Brhaspati; sva-bhartre-unto her husband; prayacchat-delivered; antarvatnim-pregnant; avait-could understand; patih-the husband (Brhaspati).
When Lord Brahma was fully informed by Aṅgira about the entire incident, he severely chastised the moon-god, Soma. Thus Lord Brahma delivered Tara to her husband, who could then understand that she was pregnant.
