SYNONYMS
niyamanebeing carried; asuraihby the demons; tasminthat; kalasejug; amrta-bhajanecontaining nectar; visanna-manasahaggrieved in mind; devahall the demigods; harimunto the Supreme Lord; saranamto take shelter; ayayuhwent.
TRANSLATION
When the jug of nectar was carried off by the demons, the demigods were morose. Thus they sought shelter at the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Hari.
