paksa-cchedah prajatyaye
krto nivisatam bharaih
patattraih patatam bhuvi

TRANSLATION
Indra thought: Formerly, when many mountains flying in the sky with wings would fall to the ground and kill people, I cut their wings with this same thunderbolt.
