कुलिङ्गमिथुनं तत्र विचरत्समदृश्यत ।
तयोः कुलिङ्गी सहसा लुब्धकेन प्रलोभिता ॥ ५१ ॥ kuliṅga-mithunam tatra
vicarat samadrsyata
tayoh kuliṅgi sahasa
lubdhakena pralobhita
kuliṅga-mithunam-a pair of (male and female) birds known as kuliṅga; tatra-there (where the hunter was hunting); vicarat-wandering; samadrsyata-he saw; tayoh-of the pair; kuliṅgi-the female bird; sahasa-suddenly; lubdhakena-by the hunter; pralobhita-allured.
TRANSLATION
While wandering in the forest, the hunter saw a pair of kuliṅga birds. Of the two, the female was captivated by the hunter's lure.
