এত বলি' ভট্ট পড়িলা প্রভুর চরণে ।
কৃপা করি' প্রভু তাঁরে কৈলা আলিঙ্গনে ॥ ১৬২ ॥

eta bali' bhatta padila prabhura carane

krpa kari' prabhu taṅre kaila aliṅgane

SYNONYMS

eta bali'-saying this; bhatta-Vyeṅkata Bhatta; padila-fell down; prabhura carane-at the lotus feet of the Lord; krpa kari'-showing him mercy; prabhu-Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; taṅre-unto him; kaila-did; aliṅgane-embracing.

TRANSLATION

After saying this, Vyeṅkata Bhatta fell down before the lotus feet of the Lord, and the Lord, out of His causeless mercy, embraced him.
