যদ্যপি বিচ্ছেদ দোঁহার সহন না যায় ।
তথাপি দণ্ডবৎ করি' চলিলা রামরায় ॥ ৫৩ ॥

yadyapi viccheda doṅhara sahana na yaya

tathapi dandavat kari' calila rama-raya

SYNONYMS

yadyapi-although; viccheda-separation; doṅhara-of both of them; sahana-toleration; na-not; yaya-possible; tathapi-still; dandavat-obeisances; kari'-offering; calila-departed; rama-raya-Ramananda Raya.

TRANSLATION

Although neither could tolerate the other's separation, Ramananda Raya nonetheless offered his obeisances to Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and departed.
