পাঁচ সহস্র মুদ্রা তুমি কর অঙ্গীকার ।
পুণ্য, অর্থ, - দুই লাভ হইবে তোমার ॥" ৮ ॥

paṅca sahasra mudra tumi kara aṅgikara

punya, artha,-dui labha ha-ibe tomara"

SYNONYMS

paṅca sahasra-five thousand; mudra-golden coins; tumi-you; kara aṅgikara-please accept; punya-pious activity; artha-material gain; dui labha-two kinds of achievement; ha-ibe-will be; tomara-yours.

TRANSLATION

"Here are five thousand gold coins. Please accept them. By releasing me, you will receive the results of pious activities and gain material profit as well. Thus you will profit in two ways simultaneously."
