সন্তুষ্ট হইলাঙ আমি, মোহর না লইব ।
পুণ্য লাগি' পর্বত তোমা' পার করি' দিব ॥" ৩১ ॥

santusta ha-ilaṅa ami, mohara na la-iba

punya lagi' parvata toma' para kari' diba"

SYNONYMS

santusta-satisfied; ha-ilaṅa-have become; ami-I; mohara-the golden coins; na la-iba-I shall not take; punya lagi'-simply for pious activity; parvata-the hilly tract of land; toma'-you; para kari' diba-I shall get across.

TRANSLATION

"I am very satisfied with your behavior. I shall not accept these gold coins, but I shall get you across that hilly tract of land simply to perform a pious activity."
