তাঁর নাভিপদ্ম হৈতে উঠিল এক পদ্ম ।
সেই পদ্মে হইল ব্রহ্মার জন্ম-সদ্ম ॥ ২৮৭ ॥

taṅra nabhi-padma haite uthila eka padma

sei padme ha-ila brahmara janma-sadma

SYNONYMS

taṅra nabhi-padma haite-from His lotus navel; uthila-grew; eka-one; padma-lotus flower; sei padme-on that lotus flower; ha-ila-there was; brahmara-of Lord Brahma; janma-sadma-the place of generation.

TRANSLATION

"A lotus flower then sprouted from the lotus navel of that Garbhodakasayi Visnu. That lotus flower became Lord Brahma's birthplace.
