দ্বারের উপর ভিতে তেঁহো হাত দিল ।
সেই হাতে ফল ছুঁইল, পণ্ডিত দেখিল ॥ ৮১ ॥

dvarera upara bhite teṅho hata dila

sei hate phala chuṅila, pandita dekhila

SYNONYMS

dvarera upara-above the door; bhite-on the ceiling; teṅho-he; hata dila-brushed his hand; sei hate-with that hand; phala chuṅila-touched the fruit; pandita-Raghava Pandita; dekhila-saw.

TRANSLATION

"Raghava Pandita then saw that the servant touched the ceiling above the door and then touched the coconuts with the same hand.
