SYNONYMS
dasa-prakara sakaspinach of ten varieties; nimba-tikta-sukhta-jholaa soup called sukhta, made with bitter nimba leaf; maricera jhalaa pungent preparation made with black pepper; chana-badaa mild cake made of fried curd; badi gholabuttermilk with small pieces of fried dhal.
TRANSLATION
There were about ten kinds of spinach, a soup called sukhta, which was made with bitter nimba leaves, a pungent preparation made with black pepper, a mild cake made of fried curd, and buttermilk mixed with small fried pieces of dhal.
