এত বলি' দিল তাঁরে ছিণ্ডা পট্টডোরী ।
ইহা দেখি' করিবে ডোরী অতি দৃঢ় করি' ॥ ২৫০ ॥
eta bali' dila taṅre chinda patta-dori
iha dekhi' karibe dori ati drdha kari'
eta bali'-saying this; dila-delivered; taṅre-to them; chinda-broken; patta-dori-silken ropes; iha dekhi'-seeing this; karibe-you must make; dori-the ropes; ati-very much; drdha kari'-making strong.
After telling them this, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu showed them the broken silken ropes, saying, "Just look at this sample. You must make ropes that are much stronger."
