তাঁহা শুনে লোকে কহে অন্যোন্যে বাত্‌ ।
এক সন্ন্যাসী আসি' দেখি' জগন্নাথ ॥ ১৫ ॥

tahha sune loke kahe anyonye vat

eka sannyasi asi' dekhi' jagannatha

SYNONYMS

tahha-at that place; sune-they hear; loke-the people in general; kahe-talk; anyonye-among themselves; vat-topics; eka-one; sannyasi-mendicant; asi'-coming there; dekhi'-seeing; jagannatha-the Deity of Lord Jagannatha.

TRANSLATION

There the devotees heard the people talking about a mendicant who had come to Jagannatha Puri and had seen the Deity of Jagannatha.
