rajara ki dosa raja nija-dravya caya
dite nare dravya, danda amare janaya
SYNONYMS
rajaraof the King; ki dosawhat is the fault; rajathe King; nijaown; dravyamoney; cayawants; dite narethey cannot give; dravyamoney; dandapunishment; amareto Me; janayathey inform.
TRANSLATION
"What is the fault on the part of the King? He wants the government's money. However, when they are punished for failing to pay the government its due, they come to Me to release them.
