তাঁহা লাগি' দ্রব্য ছাড়ি, - ইহা মাৎ জানে ।
'সহজেই মোর প্রীতি হয় তাহা-সনে' ।।" ১২৬ ।। ॥ ১২৬ ॥

taṅha lagi' dravya chadi'-iha mat jane

'sahajei mora priti haya taha-sane' "

SYNONYMS

taṅha lagi'-for them; dravya chadi'-I remit the debt; iha-this; mat jane-He does not know; sahajei-naturally; mora priti-my affection; haya-is; taha-sane-with them all.

TRANSLATION

" 'Because of my intimate relationship with them, I have absolved Gopinatha Pattanayaka of all his debts. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu does not know this fact. Whatever I have done is because of my intimate relationship with the family of Bhavananda Raya.' "
