বিষয়-সুখ দিতে প্রভুর নাহি মনোবল ।
নিবেদন-প্রভাবেহ তবু ফলে এত ফল ॥ ১১৪ ॥

visaya-sukha dite prabhura nahi manobala

nivedana-prabhaveha tabu phale eta phala

SYNONYMS

visaya-of material opulence; sukha-happiness; dite-award; prabhura-of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; nahi-is not; manobala-desire; nivedana-prabhaveha-simply because He was informed about it; tabu-still; phale eta phala-so much of a result was obtained.

TRANSLATION

The Lord had no intention to award His devotee the happiness of material opulence, yet simply because of His being informed, such a great result was obtained.
