kabhu ramacandra-purira haya bhrtya-praya
kabhu tare nahi mane, dekhe trna-praya
SYNONYMS
kabhusometimes; ramacandra-puriraof Ramacandra Puri; hayawas; bhrtya-prayaexactly like a servant; kabhusometimes; tarefor him; nahi maneHe did not care; dekhesees; trna-prayajust like a straw.
TRANSLATION
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu sometimes accepted Ramacandra Puri as His master and considered Himself a servant, and sometimes the Lord, not caring for him, would see him as being just like a straw.
