"সন্ন্যাসীর ধর্ম নহে 'ইন্দ্রিয়-তর্পণ' ।
যৈছে তৈছে করে মাত্র উদর ভরণ ॥ ৬৪ ॥

"sannyasira dharma nahe 'indriya-tarpana'

yaiche taiche kare matra udara bharana

SYNONYMS

sannyasira-of a sannyasi; dharma-religious principle; nahe-is not; indriya-tarpana-to gratify the senses; yaiche taiche-some way or other; kare-does; matra-only; udara bharana-filling the belly.

TRANSLATION

Ramacandra Puri advised, "It is not the business of a sannyasi to gratify his senses. He should fill his belly some way or other.
