viraha-vedanaya prabhura rakhaye parana
SYNONYMS
ramananderaof Ramananda Raya; krsna-kathatalks of Lord Krsna; svarupera ganathe songs of Svarupa Damodara; viraha-vedanayaat the time of pangs of separation; prabhuraof Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; rakhayekeep; paranathe life.
TRANSLATION
When the Lord acutely felt pangs of separation from Krsna, only Sri Rama-nanda Raya's talk about Krsna and the sweet songs of Svarupa Damodara kept Him alive.
