prasadanna pasarira yata na vikaya
dui-tina dina haile bhata sadi' yaya
SYNONYMS
prasada-annafood of Jagannatha; pasariraof the shopkeepers; yataas much as; na vikayais not sold; dui-tina dinatwo and three days; haileafter; bhatathe rice; sadi' yayabecomes decomposed.
TRANSLATION
Lord Jagannatha's prasada is sold by shopkeepers, and that which is not sold decomposes after two or three days.
