keha—someone; yadi—if; deya—offers; tabe—then; karaye bhaksana—he eats; kabhu—sometimes; upavasa—fasting; kabhu—sometimes; karaye carvana—he chews.
"He eats if someone gives him something to eat. Sometimes he fasts, and sometimes he chews fried grains."
