পরম বৈরাগ্য তার, নাহি ভক্ষ্য-পরিধান ।
যৈছে তৈছে আহার করি' রাখয়ে পরাণ ॥ ২৫৪ ॥

parama vairagya tara, nahi bhaksya-paridhana

yaiche taiche ahara kari' rakhaye parana

SYNONYMS

parama-supreme; vairagya-renunciation; tara-his; nahi-not; bhaksya-eating; paridhana-dressing; yaiche taiche-somehow or other; ahara kari'-eating; rakhaye parana-keeps life.

TRANSLATION

"He is in the supreme order of renounced life. Indeed, he does not care about eating or dressing. Somehow or other he eats and maintains his life.
