sei haite abhyantare na karena gamana
bahire durga-mandape yana karena sayana
sei haite—from that day; abhyantare—in the interior rooms; na karena gamana—did not go; bahire—outside; durga-mandape—to the place where Durga worship was performed; yana—going; karena sayana—he sleeps.
From that day on, he did not go into the interior section of the house. Instead, he would sleep on the Durga-mandapa [the place where mother Durga was worshiped].
