তবে আমি-দুঁহে তারে আলিঙ্গন কৈলুঁ ।
'সাধু, দৃঢ়ভক্তি তোমার' - কহি' প্রশংসিলুঁ ॥ ৪৩ ॥

tabe ami-duhhe tare alihgana kailuh

'sadhu, drḍha-bhakti tomara'-kahi' prasamsiluh

SYNONYMS

tabe-at that time; ami-duhhe-both of us; tare-him; alihgana kailuh-embraced; sadhu-very good; drḍha-very determined; bhakti-devotion; tomara-your; kahi'-saying; prasamsiluh-we praised.

TRANSLATION

"Upon hearing this, both of us embraced him and encouraged him by saying, 'You are a great saintly devotee, for your determination in devotional service is fixed.' In this way we both praised him.
