হিত-নিমিত্ত আইলাঙ আমি, হৈল বিপরীতে ।
কি করিলে হিত হয় নারি নির্ধারিতে ।।" ১৪০ ।। ॥ ১৪০ ॥

hita-nimitta ailaṅa ami, haila viparite

ki karile hita haya nari nirdharite"

SYNONYMS

hita-nimitta-for benefit; ailaṅa-came; ami-I; haila viparite-it has become just the opposite; ki karile-how; hita haya-there will be benefit; nari nirdharite-I cannot ascertain.

TRANSLATION

"I came here for my benefit, but now I see that I am getting just the opposite. I do not know, nor can I ascertain, how there will be benefit for me."
