"আপনে বোলান মোরে, ইহা যদি জানি । ॥ ২৪ ॥

"apane bolana more, iha yadi jani

amara ista-mantra jani' kahena apani

tabe jani, iṅhate haya caitanya-avese"

eta cinti' sivananda rahila dura-dese

SYNONYMS

apane-personally; bolana-calls; more-me; iha-this; yadi-if; jani-I understand; amara-my; ista-mantra-worshipable mantra; jani'-knowing; kahena apani-he says himself; tabe jani-then I shall understand; iṅhate-in him; haya-there is; caitanya-avese-being possessed by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; eta cinti'-thinking this; sivananda-Sivananda Sena; rahila-remained; dura-dese-a little far off.

TRANSLATION

"If Nakula Brahmacari personally calls me and knows my worshipable mantra, then I shall understand that he is inspired by the presence of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu." Thinking in this way, he stayed some distance apart.
